"Yo, how you been?" Calvin asked Kyla
"If you aren't here to order anything, you need to leave" she said, fed up with his pop ups
"I'll take a sweet tea and a minute of your time"
"I'll be back with your drink" she rolled her eyes before walking off
She had yet to deal with Calvin, and she didn't tell Mekai because things were going good for the two, she didn't want to add drama. She thought that her threatening him numerous times would make him leave her alone, but none of it worked
"Here" she sat his drink down "Are you ready to order?" Considering the fact that she was at her place of business, she had to treat him like any other customer
"Kyla, you've failed to hear me out all the times I wanted to talk to you. I promise to leave you alone if you just talk to me for a few" The desperateness could be heard all throughout his voice
"I'm working right now, meet me out front at 10." If talking was all it took to get him to leave her alone, she'd do it
"Great" he smiled
She walked to the next table and started to take their orders.
In Mekai's car, he and Lena were discussing some things.
"I'm glad you decided to talk with me" Lena smiled, resting her hand on his
He went and picked her up, now they were parked in the woods, a little quiet spot where no one could see or hear anything.
He yanked away "Don't get no fuckin' ideas, I don't want ya ass" he made it clear "I'm just here to let you know that if you don't leave me and my girl alone, it's gonna be some consequences you don't wanna suffer"
"Like what? She gone try to fight me?" She giggled, placing her hand on his leg "Come on Kai, you know I don't go away that easy"
He clenched his jaw as thoughts began popping in his head.
What you gonna do about her?
I don't know, should I fuck her to shut her up?
That shit ain't gone work. It's just gonna make you lose Kyla, stupid.
"I know secrets about you that nobody knows...I'll tell everything" she whispered in his ear, flicking his earlobe with her tongue

When Mekai and Lena first stared dealing with one another, which was Sophomore year, she witnessed him having an episode. She knew he had mental issues, but she kept quiet. She liked the wild side of him, occasionally.
She swore she'd never tell

"I think you know" her clammy hands gripped his dick through his sweats
"You got it, let's go to my place" he started up the car
She knew he was crazy, but she was about to find out just how much.
~10:05pm
"Talk" Kyla leaned against her car, waiting for Calvin to speak
"When we first met, things were going good. We called each other everyday, I would bring you food to school, we'd do a lot of couple like shit." He paused "But we never became a couple...and I feel like we were supposed to be"
Kyla shook her head "So you harassed me because you felt like we were supposed to be a couple?"
"I'll do anything for love..."
"Love?" She raised an eyebrow "Ok, now you talking crazy." She turned to get in her car
"Don't walk away from me! I love you!" He grabbed her shoulders and slammed her back against the windows
The fact that he was blurting out shit like that and he now had his hands on her, made her a little nervous.
"Get the fuck off me!" She fought against him
"Why don't you love me?!" He cried, shaking her
She kneed him in his balls, causing him to let go of her. In that time, she quickly pulled her gun from her purse. She took the safety off and aimed it at him.
"You...you used me" he held his private part in pain "You used me to make Mekai jealous"
"Everyone knew that except for you" she stared at him, he looked so pathetic she actually started feeling a little bad
"I won't stand for it, you belong to me!" He lunged at her and she pulled the trigger, sending the bullet right into his chest
She felt bad for him, but not bad enough to risk her own life. The diner was far from neighborhoods, so no one heard the shot go off. No one heard anything.
He laid on the ground, wheezing and coughing "Please..." he forced out
Kyla stood over him, her mind racing 1,000 miles per minute. The closest she'd ever gotten to shooting her gun was at the range, not on an actual human. She didn't know what to do.
"Help me...please" he cried, blood spurting from his mouth
For a minute, her heart softened for him. But then she thought about how in all the movies, right before the enemy dies, they try to kill the good person too. She wasn't having it
"I can't do that" she aimed the gun at him
"Kyla, I love you" he tried to pull her leg
"Stop saying that!" She screamed at him, shooting the gun again, this time silencing him for good.
His dead body laid out flat on the ground as he took his last breath.
Kyla quickly pulled her phone out of her purse and dialed Mekai's number. He turned off his chainsaw before answering.
"Yeah baby?"
"I just killed Calvin..." she said with no emotion
"What?" He couldn't believe his ears
"I'm at the diner, come quick" then she hung up
She got her breathing under control before deciding to move his body herself. She grabbed him by his ankles and pulled him as far as she could to her the side of her car. Kyla was strong, but not strong enough to carry an entire dead man's body. All she feared now was somebody pulling up and seeing this mess. She fiddled with her fingers as she waited inside her car for Mekai.
But as Mekai drove to meet Kyla, his mind was filled with ways to finish off the bloody, tied up Lena in his basement.
