Background: I had to write a "copycat" poem from a poet for my creative writing class, I did a remake of Sandra Cisneros poem, "Black Lace Bra Kind of Woman".
She’s an autumn kind of woman! One who carriesher head high through the orange and red treesfull of leaves. I’ve seen her charm for bad luck with every twist and turn. The agility of the paintbrush she carries in her hand is whatmakes heads turn and stare. Seeing her in action is a sight to behold, I’ve given my love and happiness are up for a gamble.
This girl is not one of simplicity; she’ll make you dance in circles with her unpredictable nature. The time of Halloween and October will make her happy and delighted; but be frightful for she may cause a scare. She’s cautious but risky, she lives kind of dangerously. I can see on her face that she wonders where the good times are. The good times are here now, no need
to fret any longer.
