Magic-Filled Christmas

Under the tree
Lay presents of plenty
Covered in paper of red and green

Waking before dawn
Excitement rushing through veins
But no presents before Mom's coffee

Mess of paper
Dad on pickup duty
Assortments of toys about the floor

Stockings on the mantle
Filled with various candies
Sugar running through blood

Family dinner around the table
Talking about the day
With grins and laughs on faces

Making memories that'll last
Keeping magic long-lasting
Spending time with thoes we love
