It's been about a year,
Since we first became friends.
Gym class of 8th grade,
Only talking because we were complaining about Mrs.Jackson.
You're a good friend,
I've gotten really close with you within a year.
You make me laugh and smile
The stories you write are always a joy to read,
Along with the poetry that has such deep meaning.
Loudly oversharing in 8th period is one of my favorite parts of the day.
I think we've helped each other become better versions of ourselves,
A year can do a lot,
And this is the best example there is.
