Before I'm gone tell my parents every lie I told
Tell them what I couldn't say
Tell them how much they hurt me
Tell them why I was so distant and cold
Why I stayed in my room all the time
Explain to them everything I went through everyday
Before I'm gone tell my friends how much I cared
Tell them how much I loved them
Tell them every secret I didn't end up spilling
Share my poetry with the ones I didn't
Before I'm gone tell my peers that I'm more than what they see
Tell them that I'm louder and funnier than I was in class
That there was more beneath the surface
Before I'm gone tell the people who I didn't like the reason for that
Tell them everything they did
Everything that made me upset
Everything they said to me or did to my friends
Before I'm gone tell my teachers how hard I tried
The tired filled days where I didn't feel like getting out of bed
Tell them about the days where my brain got the better of me
The days where I'd rather be dead than alive
