But not all
Violets are blue
Except violet is purple
Love is dead
The genuine kind
Hookup culture and oversexualization took over
Stupid fairy tales and happily ever afters aren't real
Nobody loves me
Pointless crushes and wasted time
Lead on
Mixed signals
People hard to read
Why must I be a hopeless romantic?
I wish and wish
Throw coins in the wishing well
Gambling on love
Why must I be so dumb?
Please save me
For this is an endless pit
Desire and heartbreak
Driest of deserts are my eyes
The deepest of oceans are my pillows
Only if the fairy tales were real
Only if I could have a happily ever after
Maybe then,
In that other universe,
I could be saved by a true loves kiss
