Rudran pov

I am in my home, as per my mom's strict order. But i called vidyut to my home to discuss about the case.

"Vaa da vaa ivan kettu porathu mattu illama ipo unnayu kedurana vaa vaa" my mom welcomed vidyut in a warm manner. While anni went to give him drinks

"Apdi lam illama" vidyut said and sat down on the couch beside me. "Enna apdila illama ? Unaku oru girlfriend aachu iruka illa neeyu ivana pola vetti payala ?" Vidyut was stumbling to answer my mom's question.

"Maaaa" i whined. "Ohh apo ivanu unna pola nu sollu nalla jodi senthu irukinga da" my mom said sarcastically. Anni came to my escape and gave us apple juice.

"Maa neenga vera yen nalla jodi nu lam solringa erkanave enaku ivanunga mela santhegama iruku" there comes my annoying brother's voice. "Ennada doubt ?" My mom asked him.

"Ivanunga next year pride month la participate pannuvangalo nu thaan" vidyut coughed on his juice while i throw a book on agni.

But he missed it and walked away casually. "Vidyut nee study room va case file eduthutu" we both stood up from the couch. "Maa ethuku avanunga rendu perayu kadhava thorantha vaika sollunga room kulla enna pannuvangalo" agni's voice came from the kitchen while amma and anni started to laugh and vidyut had a bewildered expression.

"Avana kandukatha" i said this to vidyut and moved forwards. But still vidyut face is not normal.

We reached my study and closed the door, vidyut stared at the door. "Un kazhutha 180 degree thirupurathuku munnadi neeye vanthu utkanthudu" he jerked and sat down on the couch beside me.

"Sir ungaluku accident aana apo anga irunth. Cctv work aagla sir yaaro odachu irukanga" he said and showed me the video clip.

"Enaku accident aachu nu yaaru sonna ?" He frowned at my question.......

Kaviyaazhini pov

"Cha thamizh aa ivlo varsham aprm.thirumba paapa nu nenaikave illa kavi, innu apdiye iruka la" my mom said to me. The truth is my mom and thamizh aunty were close friends and we were neighbours.

But after thamizh aunty's husband death. They moved to a different place and we lost contact.

"Kavi innaiku evening kovil ku poitu Rudran perla oru archana pannitu apdiye thamizh veetuku poitu varalama ?" Its the worst idea right now. Me going to his home, is like deer entering a lion's den.

"Illama nee poitu vaa naa cab book panni thara" my mom gave me a non interesting look. "Ennadi nee v2la summa thana iruka kovil ku thana koopdura vaa" i was about to disagree.

When my dad came out of his room speaking to someone, while putting on his slippers to go somewhere. "Ohh innaiku evening varingala maapla, sari sari vaanga naa railway station pakathula thaan irupa, vanthutu phone pannunga" as soon as i heard that.

"Amma kovil ku ponum na thalaiku kulikanum la tho poi kulikura nee lunch edurhu vai saaptu kelambalam" I didn't wait for her reply and ran off to my room. But I didn't failed to hear my mom's chuckle.

After few hours

"Yen ma unaku vera kovil eea kedaikalaya ? Namma v2la irunthu 2 mani neram travel panni varanuma intha kovil ku inga irunthu thamizh veetuku porathuku vera oru mani neram aagum" i asked her climbing the steps.

"Summa vaa di intha murugan romba sakthi vaainthavaru kettathellam kuduparu" i sighed and asked. "Apo 1000 kodi ketta tharuvara ?" She smacked my head and we completed our prayers.

We sat down on the temple steps and i broke a coconut piece and started to eat. "Sari vaa kavi kelambalam" we both climbed down, and i started the car.

As we reached thamizh's home, we rang the bell. "Yaaru venum ?" I heard niharika's playful voice. We both chuckled. "Nee thaan venum kalyanam pannikiriya" that's when the door opened revealing Rudran.

My heart sank to my stomach. "Pannikalam" niharika replied and jumped on to my hand. While i was regretting my chice of dialogue at unwanted timing. "Neenga rendu perum antha side poi kalayanam pannikonga, nee vaa rudra namma ulla polam" my mom took rudran with her who was giving me the intense look.

I too entered inside with niharika on my hip, i sat on the couch beside agni anna with niharika on my lap. We both talked on random things. While vidya akka came with coffee for everyone. "Intha da eduthuko ?" She forwarded me a cup. "Ava tea coffee kudika maata anni" there comes rudran's voice out of nowhere and he forwarded me a glass of mango juice.

I gave him a small smile and took the glass from him. They too settled down on the couches. "Thamizh ithu rudran peruku arzhana pannathu intha vaangiko" my mom forwarded the basket to thamizh.

"En aththai ku mattu than en mela pasam nesam ellam iruku" rudran side hugged my mom while she laughed and patted his head. He always used to call my mom aththai while i call his mom by her name as she is my friend come partner in crime.

They all started to speak about past moments and the time we all missed. But rudran's eyes were on me all the time but I didn't look up at him instead i played with niharika.

"Rajavin paarvai raaniyin pakkam" agni anna started to sing out of nowhere. "Kan theduthe sorgam" even vidya akka joined with him.

"Enna ka paatulam paaduringa?" She smiled teasing and eyed rudran and me. I become embarrassed. "Kai mooduthey vetkam." Agni anna continued to sing. "Anna pothum niruthunga" agni anna suddenly stopped singing and thought about something.

I am glad the ladies are indulged in their talks. "Oii enna nee vidya va akka nu koopdura enna anna nu koopdura, nee enna mama nu koopdanu" agni anna said this and nodded his head to himself. "Adinga, unaku avlo thaan mariyatha solta avalam yarayum apdi koopda maata" but agni anna smirked and put his hands on my shoulder.

"Unaku porama da unna vida enna thaan kavi ku pudikum nu apdi thana kutty" agni anna asked me. "Kutty kitty na palla pethuduva" vidya akka was laughing silently hearing their bickering. I just nodded my head awkwardly towards agni anna who smirked in victory towards Rudran.

We in return glared at agni anna hand on my shoulder and his gaze moved to my eyes and was pouring fire out of it.......
