To see the new found gap,
Hurt me more than a slap.
A distance,How I do not know?
I never thought this would show.
Something I acknowledged,
But never addressed.
Something he now saw,
But could not ignore,
I made the distance, a way,
To show my different love in day,
But I closed the gap in other times,
When I could go without hides.
But as he puts the distance to words,
It hurts more than wounds,
So I ignored my pain to travel,
And I found his smile unravel,
And then I saw the distance,
I made it close even with resistance.
Then returned my long gone smile,
Then I saw his adores worthwhile,
So I knew it was foolish to keep the distance,
But you said right in insistence,
And then I slapped my head in reckon,
My other love was all he needed, I should beckon.
The distance no more felt, but it's there,
No longer do we understand what we were,
His influence, his hand to complete my life,
And the distance now closed in rife!
My love from without a distance felt,
And we knew what we were and I melt,
As the gap closed in a swift,
We kissed and he made me lift!
