It was finally happening. The day you've been dreading the whole week. The first day of school for your son Julian. You were not ready.

I groaned as I got up the bed and walked to Julian's room. To my surprise, he was already up and getting his outfit ready for school with my oh so lovely husband Marco.

"You should wear this. The girls will love you" Marco said, as he pulled out a Bvb jersey of course.

"You're right!" Mini Marco said excitedly. I rolled my eyes and walked deeper into his room.

"Okay baby time to get ready. Go wash your teeth and then come down for breakfast"

"Okay mommy" he said and he ran out of his room.

"All the girls will love him? Really Marco?"  I said

"What it's true! He looks like me so of course he's going to attract all the girls in his class" he said shrugging.

"He's only 5" I said

"You're just jealous. It's okay babe, you might have to share him but one thing for sure is you get to have alllll of me to yourself" he said winking.

"Marco please" I said playfully pushing him out of the way as I got breakfast ready.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••After a hectic morning of trying to get everyone out of the house, you guys were all finally on the way to the school. Sometimes you felt like you had two kids to take care of instead of one. When you out Marco and Julian together you get complete chaos. But I love them dearly.

"Are you okay" Marco asked

"Mmhmm" I said

"He's going to be fine. y/n" he reassured you.

"I know he is but he's my baby and he's growing up too fast"

"Yes mommy, I'm going to be okay and make lots and lots of friends" Julian said excitedly as he looked out the window and saw the school approaching.

I signed and mentally prepared myself to let him go.

Julian got out of  the car and I held his hand. He began walking inside the school and found his classroom. We were outside the class waiting for the teacher.

"Hello welcome, I'm Ms. G. What's your name? She asked crouching down to be at eye level with Julian.

"I'm  Julian" he said confidently
She chuckled "Welcome to Kindergarten, when your ready you can come inside"

"Okay Julian, I packed your favorite lunch. It's in your backpack. Also make sure you listen to your teacher and behave. If someone's being mean to you, you tell the teach-"

"Okay y/n I think he gets it" Marco said chucking

"I got this mom" Julian said,

"Okay, we will back later to pick you up okay?"

"Yes okay bye" he said and ran off. He literally ran off without giving us a hug or nothing.

I frowned "what?"

""C'mon babe lets go" i sighed  and walked away  hand in hand with Marco.

Once we made it home, I was occupying myself with chores and got a lot done. I looked at the clock, only 3 more hours until he got out of school.

I walked down to the living room and saw Marco watching television.

"Hey" I said

"Hey baby, how you holding up" he said laughing at me.

"Oh shut up" I said "I'm okay now"

"Mhmm. I miss him too you know. But we're gonna have to learn to let go. Sooner or later he's not even going to want us to be seen with us. Let alone walk him to class" he said teasingly

"Ugh stoooop," I said laying my head in his shoulder.

"We did good with him" Marco said

"Yeah what did you expect? He has me as his mother" I sad jokingly.

It was now time to get Julian. We didn't get a call from the school or anything so we know he had a great day. We approached the door and watched him continue coloring.

"Mommy, daddy" he screamed and ran to us

"He J ready to go" Marco said

"Yeah" he said and we walked toward the car.

Once in the car, Julian told us all of the things he did on his first day. It was so cute how excited he got when he talked about his day.

"Mommy am I going back tomorrow?" He asked

"Yup, you get to do it all over again" I said and he smiled liking the answer.
