Chapter seventeen: Aidan

"Hey boys. What's wrong?" The nurse, Mrs.Neff, asked.

I held up my hand and Xavier moved his hair.
She moved towards us.

"Aidan, Why is your hand bandaged?" she asked.

I was debating weather or not to tell her the truth. I decide it couldn't do much harm.

"I got angry and punched a mirror." I said.

"Can I take a look?"

I looked over to Xavier, who nodded.

"Sure."

She unwrapped the bandage and gasped.

"Aidan, This is going to need stitches. Im going to call your parents."

"NO! I mean I have a car. I can drive." I said.

She shrugged.

"I suppose. I'll excuse you for the day."

I nodded.

"Can I go with him?" Xavier asked.

"I don't see why not."

She wrote us both passes and sent us to get our stuff. I stared at the ground as I waited for him to get his stuff.

"Why did you punch a mirror?" Xavier asked.

"I've... got anger issues." I said trying to sound convincing.

We walked to my locker and I shoved my note book in the locker, pulling out my car keys.

We walked into the hospital with our heads down. I checked in and sat next to Xavier. We talked about the project, deciding on a good old fashion super hero comic.
Twenty minutes later the doctor came out.

"Aidan Krazer. Come on back."

I stood up and walked through the door, as my new friend followed behind.
