Harry's POV

The noise got louder as Emerald and I shared a kiss in front of the thousands cheerful crowds after the royal wedding ceremony.

"Congratulations!"

"Best wishes!"

"Wonderful wedding!"

"We love you!"

The crowd shouted as we got ourselves into the carriage. They waved their banners as we rode past them going to where the reception area was held. We showed our greatest appreciation by smiling and waving back at them happily.

It was a very overwhelming moment. I've cried the moment I saw Emerald walked in the aisle with her father, Eros Petrakis. I said I would not cry but I could not help myself. I was totally overjoyed.

But seeing the fat tears sliding on her father's cheeks made me stop. I knew I had to control myself.

Even my grandpa, the king cried before the ceremony started, because of happiness.

"I'm so proud of you Philip. You chose a wonderful woman to marry. Emerald would be a very good queen. England would be so proud of her."

"She will be grandpa. And thank you for respecting my feelings and decision to marry her."

He tapped my shoulder. "I love you son. Soon when I'm gone, you would be the greatest King of England." He hugged me before he went to take his seat at the front row.

My parents and sister, London, supported my decision. They were so happy that I would marry Emerald. Being good friends and neighbours with the Petrakis for too long, made them an extension of our family.

My best friend, Izzy was my best man. While my other best friend, Zion and together with his wife Claire, would be the one to light the candles. And Emerald's sister, Crystal was her maid of honour.

For six months, we waited to get married. It was really a torture waiting for the big event. The preparation was very meticulous. Every detail of the wedding was scrutinized ---  being royal, proper wedding rites should be observed. The selection of the entourage, the clothes and jewellery, food and decorations, invitations and choosing the guests that came across all over the globe.

"I can't believe this is happening Harry."

Emerald squeezed my hand. Her facial expression mirrored mine. We could not wipe off the joy that showed on our faces.

"Me too, Emerald. You don't know how happy you made me. Did I tell you how much I love you today?"

"You did too many times. Oh Harry... I'm the happiest woman in the whole world."

We kissed again at the carriage that made the crowd shout with delight.

We both laughed afterwards. She blushed looking down as she touched her lips with her fingertips.

She looked so beautiful, as beautiful as the early morning sun. Her red hair flaming vibrantly under the white veil and diamond studded tiara, her face naturally fresh in minimal makeup, and the creamy expanse of her neck and shoulders showing above her off shoulder wedding gown.

She sat perfectly poise showed her strength and confidence as a woman. She was also very smart, compassionate to others, loving, humble and down to earth.

The qualities of a good princess... and soon, the Queen of England.

Emerald's POV

I felt like I was floating in the clouds as I danced with Harry in the grand ballroom of the palace during the wedding reception. I could not explain the happiness I felt. I married my one and only love.
