Update : Roots has its own book now, and it'll hold part 1 and 2 of the backstory. It's a bit cleaner and I'm also adding new chapters in between already written ones.

So, this followed the twins (mainly Lauren, actually) from the age of fourteen to fifteen. In part two, they will be sixteen. No worries, it'll be indicated in the narration so no need to keep track. It's about life before Riley crashes and the whole town goes to shit.
Chapters will be written in a formal way no matter the message, but since this is a side work, I will not always have a perfect chronology or transition. For example, some parts won't have much of a context straight away or follow the previous one. Consider them as tidbits.
There will be more references to Luc and Lauren's parents and how they died. You will see what leads to Emma finding out about them and her friendship with Lauren. You will see a lot of Raymond and a lot of horsing around in general. You might see Lauren interact with Micheal if I can fit it in, but that'll be more in Part 2, which is going to be release right after Dead Ending.
