Who doesn't want a summer of fun? Summer in the 80s brought that to all children. No school, just time to be with friends at the mall, swimming—being typical teenagers. The summer of 1985 would be just that to a hopeful Theodore Chambers, a time everyone could just be themselves. In the past 6 months, the small town of Hawkins, Indiana returned to complete normality, even trying to keep up by introducing a brand new super-mall, StarCourt. Things were changing in the town and between all the kids. They were growing up—the final summer before high school.
Regardless, Teddy tried his best to keep this "the best summer ever"... even with Mike and Eleven ditching the group as often as they could, which pained Teddy as his crush on El hadn't completely gone away (as much as wanted it to); Someone from the Chambers' past would return to make amends, or so she claimed; and... it would appear the Mind Flayer's grip on their world hadn't been severed like they thought.
Teddy Chambers will need to face his own internal problems, like love and family issues, while simultaneously facing The Mind Flayer's growing army. It's still the best summer ever... right?

SUMMER OF 1985 HAWKINS, INDIANA STRANGER THINGS SEASON THREE
WARNINGS There will be the usual Stranger Things warnings that come with the show—swearing, monsters, blood, etc. you guys know what the show involves But with this book and this act specially, there will be emotional and physical abuse (in the text and references), alcoholism, possibly a mention of SA (haven't decided if I will go through with that. It's not an assault of a minor but again, the mention of it may trigger); it's a heavy topic I've sorta implied throughout so... it's finally time.
