We got changed (outfits above) and went to a cafe for breakfast. We walked because it wasn't that far away. It was a little chilly outside so we put our hats on. We decided to stop and take a picture. (picture above) We walk into the coffee shop and we all order breakfast. Maddy is sitting on my lap. We eat and we have a fun time talking. Brady got up and grabbed Ondreaz. They walked into the bathroom. I look over at Avani. She shrugs. The come back out and Brady tells me to stand up.
Brady: Maya Lopez. You are amazing and funny. You have my heart and I have yours. So I want to ask, will you promise me that we never break up?
Me: Yes. What's all of this for?
He pulls a ring out of his back pocket. It's a promise ring. I smile and start to cry. Avani takes Maddy. The whole cafe claps. Brady already has his ring on. We hug. He's crying. I'm still crying. We are a mess. An amazing mess. We finish eating and we go home. I love that he did this. I hope we stay together forever.
