Chapter 18

Naina's POV

Who is she? Why is she staring me with so much anger? I don't even know her.

"Hi! Ragini how are you? After so long." Rajveer said.

"I am fine and it's been really long that we are meeting again." She said smiling brightly at him.

"Meet my wife. Naina." He said pointing towards me and the smile on her face got converted into a frown.

"Naina meet her. She is Rahul bhai's cousin and my close friend." He said.

We greeted each other I a formal way. I felt that she didn't like my presence. But why? What have I done?

"I got an internship in your company. I will be joining from tomorrow. I am going to work under you." She said to him.

"Nice but remember I am a very strict boss. I don't mix my personal and professional life. Don't expect any favours." He said in a professional tone. She just nodded.

We had our dinner and went to our room. Today I was really tired. I got changed and slept on the bed but sleep was far from my eyes. Even Rajveer changed and slept beside me. I was just turning around and changing sides again and again restlessly.

Rajveer pulled me closer and hugged me. "What happened wifey?" Rajveer asked me with concern.

"Nothing" I said as I only don't know why was I feeling restless.

"Are you nervous as you have a show in three days?" he asked.

"Maybe. I don't know." I said.

"Don't worry. Beautiful. The show will be awesome as you are the best." He said and kissed on my forehead.

"Now like a good girl close your eyes and sleep." He said with a naughty smile.

I smiled at him and closed my eyes. Soon sleep took over me.

Rajveer's POV

I woke up and saw that Naina was still sleeping in my arms. She was looking really cute. I carefully got out of the bed without disturbing her sleep. I went in the washroom and got ready. I came out and saw her sitting on the bed and yawning. She saw me and closed her mouth quickly. She is really a kid from heart and I am in love with her.

I sat on the couch and started to check my mails. She came out looking gorgeous as always. She was about to go but I stopped her.

"Naina you forgot something." I said her.

"What?" she asked.

I told her to come near me. She came and stood beside me. I took her hand and pulled her. She landed directly on my lap. I circled my arms around her waist.

"What are you doing? Let me go." She said.

"You forgot something Naina. Don't you think you should do that first." I said to her. She looked at me with confusion.

"Wait I will remind you." I said.

I brought my face closer to her and kissed her on her lips. It was a soft and slow kiss. She tasted exactly like what I call her. Cherry!

There was a knock on the door. Naina broke the kiss and got up quickly. She went and opened the door. Ruhi came to call us for breakfast.

We had our breakfast and left for office. I was waiting for Naina in the car. Ragini came and sat beside me in the car. I was about to tell her to sit behind but Naina came and sat at the back seat. I wanted her to sit beside me. Her smile was missing which was making me upset.
