Secure The Throne

Friends today, rivals tomorrow.

That's how rankings change everything, every relationships in Special Class A. There are only 20 seats for the chosen ones.

So fight your rivals and secure your throne... even if you are friends. Friends can be your enemies, your rivals.

"You know what will happen after your results in the mid-terms exam, right?" tanong ng homeroom teacher ng Grade 10 Special Class A. "You'll have an early eliminations since you have an extra classmate in this class."

"Your mid-terms exams will be the day after tomorrow and after that, you'll gonna have your sem break. You already knew the pointers about the exam's coverage, right?"

"Yes, sir."

"Good luck... and secure your seats, secure your thrones."

Suzanne could hear that something's thumping on the table. She slowly opened her eyes and raised her head only to see Archles smiling at her.

"It's okay. The examination day is one day ahead of us.

"In Search of Schrodinger's Cat by John Gribbin. It's one of your favourite books even if you suck at Physics, right?"

Maang na napatingin si Suzanne kay Archles. He didn't want to admit it but...

Suzanne is so cute like this.

"I'm not fond of eavesdropping but I actually heard you talking about it with Ocampo. You said you want to borrow it in Library 4 but you don't have the opportunity to do so," sagot ni Archles at agad naman n'yang ginawaran ng ngiti ang dalaga. "Here. Take it. It's all yours."

"Just take it. No buts."

"T-Thank you..."

Iingatan ko talaga ito, Archles.

"Schrodinger's cat was not a real experiment and therefore did not scientifically prove anything. Schrodinger's Cat was simply a teaching tool that Schrodinger used to illustrate how some people were misinterpreting quantum theory. Schrodinger constructed his imaginary experiment with the cat to demonstrate that simple misinterpretations of quantum theory can lead to absurd results which do not match the real world," Archles said as he leaned his head onto his intertwined fingers, looking at Suzanne. "Unfortunately, many popularizers of science in our day have embraced the absurdity of Schrodinger's Cat and claim that this is how the world really works."
