Forgotten character
The Gopher apparently works for Zazu, bringing him news "from the underground" and assisting the hornbill in jungle administration. In the movie, he brings Zazu the news that the hyenas have entered the Pride Lands.
He makes a small appearance in the song, "Morning Report."
