Chapter 19

I gasped softly clenching Boss close to me....I got lucky...Jaws just barely missed us...I breathe heavily as I swallowed hard, if I didn't make that sled in time we would've been Jaws little midnight bone snack....

I sighed loudly in relief as Boss sleeps in my arms....Now I have a long walk back home and I have to be careful.

(Red's POV):
I woke up from a nightmare screaming, it was about Crystal and Boss getting eaten by s-something.....I breathe heavily as I glanced around frantically for Crystal before panicking when she wasn't there, "Crystal?! Crystal!! CRYSTAL!!!" I shouted startling Dawn who picked me up holding me close to her soft chest rocking me gently, "Shhh shhhh shhhh it's okay, it's okay Red....yer okay, don't worry I'm sure Crystal is downstairs, let's go look for her together okay?" She says gently rubbing my back as I nod softly.

Dawn walks downstairs calling for Crystal.

It's been 2 hours...Crystal is no where to be found, Red isn't happy and is blaming Dawn about it from how stressful this is for him.
"THIS IS ALL YER FAULT!!!! YER JUST LIKE ALL THE OTHER HUMANS!! I BET YA DID SOMETHING TO CRYSTAL!!! WHERE IS SHE WHAT HAVE YA DONE WITH HER?!?!" Red shouts at Dawn as he bites her fingers harshly.

Dawn bites her lip hard as she trembles slightly trying not to fling Red off her hand while he bites her finger hard as he snarled and growls loudly, "Red please st-stop that hurts! I'm worried about Crystal too and I wouldn't do anything to hurt her!!" She insists. Red growls louder, "BULLSH*T B*TCH!!!!" He snaps at her.

Crystal pants heavily as she sweats slightly, she is at the window by the front door, she sighed softly in relief with Boss over her shoulder, "MAMA!! Brother!!! I'm out here, lemme in!!!!" She called as she knocked on the window loudly.

Dawn glances at the window slightly before perking up when she saw Crystal, "Red look she's right there!!" She says before opening the window letting Crystal hop onto her hand with Boss. Red let's Dawn's finger go as he teleports over to Crystal quickly when he saw Boss.

Crystal smiles softly, "I got him brother.....I found him and now we're f-finally together again" She says happily, completely exhausted before falling asleep in Dawn's hands. Dawn sigh softly, ".....So this is...yer other brother??" She asked curiously.

Red nods softly before feeling bad about cursing, blaming & biting Dawn...he glances at her bleeding finger before licking the blood away softly, he frowns slightly, "........" He whispers something she couldn't quite hear, "What did ya say Red??" She asked curiously.

Red repeated himself a bit louder this time, ".....I'm s—sorry for b-biting ya...m-mama" he says.
