It was 3pm. To kill some time , Cole set up the beer fridge he got for Christmas into of the counter and put beer and soda in it. We then realized we needed more alcohol. There wasn't nearly enough beer . Me and Cole went out and we also got stuff to make cocktails. Grenadine, lime and mint flavoring etc.
In the store we were at , you had to be 18 to but alcohol. I was 16.

We came back home and Tate and braybray already started putting up decor.
"This is finna be so much FUN!" I squeal
"Yes it is!!!" Brayden shouted
We put all the drinks inside and Cole , Tate and Max pull me aside.
" baby ?" They ask me
" yes Cole?" I say
" Ik u quit drinking, smoking and vaping. We don't want you to do it. But if u feel like u might relapse u gotta let us know or Shay. Ok?" He said
" Capeesh?!" Tate says
"Capoosh." I say

7pm came around and people started to come. I felt a little bit overwhelmed but at least indi , LILI and Jake and Tom here comming.
Everyone arrived and the party started. I was in control of music and I played the best artists, Sean Paul, NLE choppa , Selena Gomez , Taylor swift , lil baby and da baby .
Everyone was enjoying themselves. I was sitting with Indiana and Jake just chilling and talking .  We were sitting by the beer fridge and everyone taking drinks and hitting their vapes just made me more upset.
" I cant fuckin do this shit no more." I say getting up and leaving
" Babe No , imma go get Cole, Indiana stay with her."  Jake says
" jus lemme get a hit of urs Ik u have one." I say
" no . U quit and your not relapsing." Indiana say.
Cole comes rushing into the room.
" what happened? Is she ok? Did she drink? Did she smoke?" He asks
" no but she's trying to, she said she can't do it anymore " Jake said holding my waist
" imma go get max, he will know what to do" Cole said
" PLease , ONE HIT , ONE DRINK" I say as I reach for the beer.
Max runs up to me and hands me a pack of gum.
"Chew on it, it's a nicotine gum" he says
" y do u have nic gum?" I ask
" ok I think it's time for you to know." Max said
He took me to his room and sat me down .
" look, when I did my finals there was too much stress, that same week I broke up with my gf. I started to smoke and drink at parties. But one night it got really bad. It changed me forever. Mom and dad found out about this and punished and grounded me for 1 month. I was so pissed off. When u went to parties , I started to experiment with drugs . I was maybe 16/17 at this time. I did cocaine. Molly. Xan. Heroin .ecstasy . Morphine.LSD. I remember it was a Wednesday night . I had gotten addicted. So I snuck out again and went to a party.
I got drunk and I did shrooms and smoked some weed. And someone called me over and said that they had a new drug. I went over to the table and saw , coke , ecstasy and another drug.I asked the guy what it was and he said it was fenty. Which is fentanyl. I took 2 pills and I was out like a light. I passed out and almost overdosed at that party. Someone called cole who told mom and cole picked me up and told mom that I was high. I remember you and bray were sitting in the couch when cole and dad carried me in. Ik mom told u I was sick. But I was high out of my fucking mind. I almost died Cals. That's why when u had cramps and were looking for morphine. That's why I got upset over you taking it. " he said as tears started to roll down his eyes
" I'm sorry " he says wiping a tear, " I never Ever want you to do drugs . I only stopped because I didn't leave my room for months and Cole and Tate wouldn't even talk to me. They were pissed. I don't want u to end up like me , I don't want you to relapse, please for me.?" He said
" max. I love you so much. You know that. Ik I'm saying it now but I'll try my best because I know now that you know it's hard. But I can't tell u truthfully I am gonna keep that promise " I say
" what about a nic- free vape?" He asked
" that's what I used to help with smoking habs"he said.
"I would love that , could we go now? I feel like I need smth. " I said
" ok lemme grab my keys" he said
He talked to Cole and we left. 
" Cc. Why did u start to vape and smoke and drink?" He asked
" well after the incident, it scared me really badly and I was frightened and I didn't k is how to cope and I didn't want to feel that way. So I smoked and dranked my problems away. The vaping started when mom and dad died. I cried so much I felt like I couldn't breathe sometimes so I was given a vape by someone and they taught me how to inhale and shit so I started. Then after the grief it was hard for me to put it down . Really hard. That's why I resorted the the sh and Ed. " I say with tears down my face
We arrive at the gas station and we got out and since I was under age. I couldn't buy one but max could. I pretend to get icecream.
" Cc baby let's go ," he shouted as he paid for the vape.
We ran into the car and drove behind the store.
" I got blue razz and back ice" max said
" blue razz fo sho" I said
I took a long as Hit.
" DAYM that's a long hit" he said
" Ik " I say as I make o's
" thank you. I really appreciate u doing this" I say as I kiss him in the cheeks.
He also takes a hit as he is driving.
" I told Cole u needed to calm ur mind . He doesn't know abt me taking u to get this so , hotbox the car" he says.
We pull up to the house and sit there as him and I take hits.
2 minutes later the car is FILLED with smoke.
An angry Tate and Cole storm towards the car door and knock on the window and we roll it down. The smoke exits the car as if it was on fire.
" MAX WHAT THE FUCK MAN! I THOUGHT U WERE TAKING HER ON A DRIVE! I CANT BELIEVE U I THOUGHT U FUKING CHANGED ! " Cole screams
" Dude chill, she's not vaping, " max says
" there is a vape in her hand!" Cole exclaimed
" look at the packaging, remember when I was addicted, I used to smoke these. No nicotine. No harm. " he explains
" omfg u had me worried!" Cole and Tate said
" oh Cc baby, someone brought Heineken zero and i don't want ppl seeing that (vape) and thinking of us as bad guardians. Hide it!" Tate said
