On nights like this, when the universe is still

my "home" is cracking. It crumbles, there's oceans to fill

On nights like this, when the world is asleep

I'm sitting up all night listening for a sound or creak

On nights like this, when the moon is glowing

my "home" is gloomy, it's atmosphere is throwing

On nights like this, when the city is calm

my "home" is in chaos, like an ever stinging balm

On nights like this, when two people become one

my family breaks again with one sinful act that just becomes a ton
