XCVI. unkind

38 11 13

Every corner I turn
Makes my stomach churn
So many people hate me
I feel naked against the majority

Everywhere I go
I feel like I don't belong
Where did I go wrong?
Been wandering for way too long

I feel so astray
Tumbling on every rock
When I finally find a way
I'm stripped out of my frock

Abashed, betrayed, abandoned
No choice but to leave,emptyhanded
Gave away all my belongings
To go back to just where I started

What's mine feels like someone else's or just not mine
And I stay up till morning nine
Crossing out the unkind
