LXXI. Scream

37 11 7

In dire need
to scream so loud
the ground trembles
and people stumble
but with my words,
I helplessly fumble

I want to scream
my rage out of me
the burdening guilt
and all the grief
I want to make
the buildings tilt

to scream out
the people who left
the promises they made
but left me to shout
to remind them of the words
they smoothly
made-beleive

left to grieve
and shout and
scream
I wonder how difficult
some understanding
seems
