xxxviii. band-aids don't fix bullet holes

So you smiled a little at me
And behaved like you're happy
Not the way you did
In the past few weeks

You called me this afternoon
And spoke to me, hah-fool
After not speaking for weeks
You think it'll get normal if we start to speak?

Do you get why I'm still giving you the cold shoulder?
And realise I'm getting more bolder? I've always been bold dad

I just have a heart that's too soft for my own liking
But I'm stronger than you intend to think so sorry you won't find me crying

Because jerks like you don't deserve our tears
And I will never speak to you be it for days be it for years

The damage you've done is a price you'll pay, it can't be fixed with a few smiles
You think I'm sad about you calling it off

but Im waiting for when you'll leave us by miles
