LXXXVIII. I failed again

Oh wisdom pen!
Oh heavenly sun!
I'm here to tell,
I failed again!

To keep the rose
that grew so well
alive for I,
let it die

Unknowingly twas,
for a pests cause
I didn't know
and caused a row

Now I think
I could've thought
again they say
"A brain for what"

But here i am
with bloodied hands
from trying to remove
the thorns that grew

I poured some water
which couldn't matter
for all that I wanted
was to grow a garden

for something better.
And for the cause
of an unworthy pest
I failed again, I soiled the best

Chopped it's shoots
unknowingly with my hands
only it's roots
and emptiness stands

in the place of a rose
that grew so well
another catastrophe
in my book to tell
