XLVII. rain season

Couldn't shed a tear, for god only knows how much I've cried

so the rain poured my tears, comforting me side by side

The agony inside my heart is like a puddle of water;

jump on it and darling everything is splattered

The flashes of lightning in the clear sky

are like flashes of reminders, reminders of all the byes

Bolts of pain scattered across the sky

the aftermath is just me screaming "why?"

and again this time, my voice croaks before it could come out

hence the thunders boom, for my wounded heart do they shout

Context: there's a cyclone here in India... And, in my heart so I guess I made use of it through art
