You're so pretty I constantly long for your sight
Pretty betwixt the celestial clouds
Lightning up these lonely crowds
You're so pretty in every way
you always leave me in a mesmerised daze

You make lovers dance under your moonlit sky
Your silvery sheen gently strokes their heads
As the stars twinkle your skies songs sending the others to bed
Your time in the night sky heals the lonely souls
When you shine your light no one fears of ghosts or ghouls

You make me desperately wait for night
No one longs for me, I don't awe anyone, I'm not as pretty as you
To dance under your moonlit sky, I do not have a beau
Nothing matters though, as long as you shine your glowing light
For without you, the void night would suck in every soul to plight
