Peaceful, happy, positive

Hoping one day- you'll call me "mine"
I smile at your melodious laugh
the only song I want to hear
Not the way you call her "dear"
Nor that "he's always keeping her near"
I've loved you so much for years
And darling you're all that I know
How is it fair that I love you so much
but have to watch you go?
