Hi! So, For the Love of A Daughter is actually a Demi Lovato song that is pretty darn amazing, link to the side, but for the purposes of this book Jazz has written it. Enjoy! :) xx

Jazz’s POV

“It is way too early for this,” I stated, pulling at my high-waisted black shorts, and retucking my loose, white lace shirt in half-way “ I mean 7 in the morning for rehearsals? I won’t be surprised if our dancers don’t show. No sane person would be awake right now.”

“I think you underestimate how excited we are to do this!”

I turned around and saw our two dancers armed in their dancing gear.

“Ignore everything that comes out of Jazz’s mouth,” Alyssa said greeting Yaritza and Lana, “ She isn’t exactly a morning person”

“Ignore everything that Alyssa says. She just likes insulting me ‘cause it

makes her look good”, I smirked, while Alyssa just threw my bottle of OJ at me, though I

easily caught it “And I am a morning person....just not when I was up all night fangirling”

“Which is every night,” Alyssa interjected, as Lana and Yaritza laughed along, amused at our banter.

“Basically, “ I agreed, while quickly braiding my long black hair to the side.

“ Well, if it makes you feel better, that’s all we did too,” Yaritza smiled as she tied her own hair up.

“You’re my new best friend!” I said, going over to hug her, “ And you too!” Hugging Lana next.

They hugged me back and asked Alyssa if I was always like this.

“Yupp...you get used to it....or not,”  She replied, pride in her eyes. I was proud of myself too. I was such a different person now than I was, and it made me happy how much easier it was to open up to people now.

“Girls! Let’s get started, shall we?” Jenny, our stage manager said. Yeah, that’s right. We have our own tour/ stage manager. Who has worked with One Direction. Booyah.

“Lana, Yaritza, I assume you both have the choreography down already?” The dancers nodded their head in response and we got started.

I slung my acoustic guitar over my shoulder and made sure it was in tune, while Alyssa checked her normal mic and made sure my headset mic was working, and Lana and Yaritza stretched again and got into position. See, when Alyssa and I first started making Army of Two videos, the only instruments we used were me on the guitar or piano, and we both decided we should just keep it that way, with the only difference being me having a headset mic so I was able to move around on stage. So for the tour, we aren’t going to have a drummer or anything like that. Probably some day, but there isn’t any time to find one now, with the tour starting in a couple of weeks.

When Jenny gave us the go ahead sign, I strummed the opening bars to Heart Attack by Demi Lovato, aka my ultimate girl crush.

Out of the corners of my eyes I saw the girls start to dance and Alyssa brushed her long blonde hair out of her face. A few moments later Alyssa’s voice rang out as she joined my guitar and standing on that stage, facing an empty arena and imagining it filled with people, I almost really did have a heart attack.

When the song ended, we moved on to our version of I’m Okay by Olly Murs, Yaritza’s and Lana’s choreo perfect everytime. I was quite impressed with our new dancers, and gave myself a mental pat-on-the-back for following my instincts about the girls.
