Ela's pov:

I slept peacefully as Dimitri held me, his arms underneath my knees and my back pressed against his chest.

I think he likes me curled up to him.

Dimitri stuffs his nose in my shoulder and inhales my scent.

I hummed and stirred, I turned towards him and re-snuggled his chest.

"Are you awake my little flower?" Dimitri asked.

I fluttered my eyes open.

He looked at me with adoration.

"Good morning my adorable little flower" He said as he ran a hand through my hair.

"Good morning darling, did you sleep well?"

"Very, now that I have a gorgeous flower with me to hold onto"

I smiled and kissed his collarbone then his jaw.

"Dimitri?"

"Yes love?"

"Do you like to hold me curled in a ball?"

"I do, you look so cute and tiny"

I hummed and lent upwards and rubbed my cheek against his.

"You're growing stubble" I said.

"Yeah I'm thinking about growing it out to a beard when I get older, I can shave it off it you want"

"No, I like it, once it grows it'll make even more handsome"

"Okay, but it's not going to be a long beard"

I scrunched my nose.

"Long beards are not attractive"

"Glad to hear flower"

"What are we going to do today?"

"I'm taking you on a date"

I gasped then squealed.

He chuckled.

"I'm going to get ready" I said and and kissed his cheek before crawling out of bed and into the bathroom.

I turned on the water to the shower and placed a towel around myself before taking off my clothes.

Dimitri and I ready to see each other naked yet so I'm taking precaution.

I got in the shower and closed the glass door behind me.

I began washing my hair and sang to myself.

My singing turned into humming.

"Carry on carry on" I sang.

"Please do carry on" A male voice said.

I looked at the window and saw hand prints, one of them wiped the steam from the door and I screamed and covered myself once I saw the eyes that certainly did not belong to my mate.

"Angel flower what's wrong!?" I heard Dimitri say and the sound of a door slamming open.

A growl echoed the room.

The hands disappeared and then splatters of blood stained the shower door.

"Angel flower are you okay? Did he see you naked?" Dimitri asked.
