TOO MANY WORDS (Dyslexia)

29 6 5

Too many words spill off the page

Making waterfalls of letters

As they fall off the page to the floor

Slowly they descend down the page

Hesitating only as they reach the edge

Then suddenly as if they been released from this reality

They drift off and over the edge

Falling to the down in rain drop like regularity

Momentarily I look away, troubled by my vision

Unbelieving my eyes, knowing its impossible

Looking back I still perceive the words falling

Escaping their imprisonment, leaping off the page

Rivers of letters falling to the floor, pooling there

Soaking into the ground, never read

Percipient, I try to read them again

Yet still they fall from the page like a waterfall

Never staying still on the paper

Words run like rivers down the page

Never willingly be read by me
