Chapter 31

Lana

I felt pain all over. I could feel the blood trickling down and my surroundings were cold. I was sure I could hear someone yell but I wasn't sure.

I rolled over to the side falling off the crash cart that I was leaning on. When my back hit the ground I groaned. I couldn't hear right and my eyes opened and closed. I opened my eyes seeing the bright light flashing from the ceiling along with the sparks of the broken ones.

Before I could react someone lifted me and out of instinct I balled my fist ready to attack but stopped seeing Cisco. I looked around and realized Cisco and HR were dragging me across the floor without letting me up on my own feet. I could feel my body hitting things that laid on the ground as they pulled on my hands dragging me along with them. I pulled my hands back from them, placing them on the ground and standing up. Turning back I saw Caitlin now laid on the ground.

"Come on" HR yells pulling Julian along

Cisco held onto my hand as we all ran. I couldn't help but bump my shoulder into the wall as I still felt light headed. "Oh guys" I could hear Caitlin say

We stood at the pipeline as we waited for Cisco to open the doors for us to hide. We watched the door open and went to close again. We ran past those doors like our life depended. And maybe in this moment it did.

Once the doors closed I leaned back, closing my eyes and trying to hold my breath. Every time I took a breath I could still feel the pain where my body hit the glass and crash cart.

I opened my eyes hearing HR quietly singing. I turned to look at Julian who was also staring at HR and Cisco who had joined in. "Now's not the time" I whisper yell at them while Julian shushes them

I moved off the wall feeling it open up. Slowly we all turned around seeing Caitlin wearing her white hair and blue lips. She held her hand up to mock us. "Hey dummy's my palm scan still works" she says

We all slowly got up, never looking away from her in case she tried something. "Come on cait this isn't you" I say

"I don't want to have to do this" Cisco says

"I know you don't, but I do" she says lifting her hands

In her hands I could see the smoke of coldness appear as she planned to use it on us.

"Caitlin" I say with authority and pointing my finger at her "don't!" I groaned feeling like I was scolding a child

Before she could do anything Barry stood in his suit in the middle of Caitlin and us.

"Stop!" He yells looking at us then her

"Aww, come to save the day? Good now I can kill you too" she says moving her hands

Before she could use her powers Barry ran to her pushing her.

"Not too hard" I say when Caitlin skids on the ground
