Chapter 32

Lana

We walked through the doors of STAR labs. And I held onto Barry's hand as he kissed the top of my head.

"So what are you going to do?" Barry asks me as we waited for the elevator doors to open

"I don't want Damon to get caught in the middle of this. He's staying far away from this until it's over" I tell him

"I'm sorry, I know you just wanted him safe" he says

"It's not your fault honey" I say walking to him and wrapping my arms around his neck

Once the elevator doors opened we walked out and went to the cortex.

"All I can think of right now is finding Caitlin and getting her back" I say

"And we will" he says and we walk into the cortex

Walking in we could see that everyone was already there. We all stood closer as Barry pulled up a hologram revealing a woman who I assumed was the one Barry told me about.

"Her name is Tracy Bran," Barry says as we look at the hologram "she's one of the world's top theoretical physicists. Or at least she will be"

"No kidding, Girl Scouts earn her merit badges. 2021 Nobel prize-" Cisco continued to read

"She's the key to stopping savitar" Barry says "future me said that four years from now Dr. Bran invents the technology that traps savitar in the speed force"

"Four years too late" joe says

"Yeah but if she invents the tech then maybe she's working on the prototype now" Iris says

"That's exactly right so we should find her" HR says

"Agreed" Cisco says

I continued to stand in the same spot I was as everyone else moved away. I watched as Barry took the hologram and Julian walked to the center of the room.

"Sorry, why are we not looking for Caitlin again?" He asks

"Easy Romeo and Julian none of us have forgot about Caitlin" HR says

I couldn't help but chuckle at the reference as I moved from my spot and stood beside Cisco.

"Right but future flash already confirmed that she teamed up with savitar we should be doing everything in our power to stop that from happening" he says

"We know" they all say

"Right so what is Wally doing swarming off to earth 3 to be with his girlfriend he can be here right now looking for her and it's like no ones doing a thing-" Julian says

"No ones doing a thing? Barry and Wally searched the city half a dozen times and no ones doing a thing? Every chance I get I try to vibe where she is, we're using facial recognition technology, we're using a metahuman app, the satellite. Lana has got her tech at her old loft looking for her too, tech that I want to get my hands on. We're doing everything we can" Cisco says
