Alpha and Luna: Part One

As Harper transitioned smoothly into the full role of our pack's Luna I wasn't too surprised to find out that her sister Valerie was also taking on the role.

I knew Harper would have her concerns but it isn't our place to say anything, also Trace is ready to push forward with his mate...while me, I'm just happy to have my own mate by my side in whatever capacity she's willing to give me.

"Lucky for Trace, Valerie seems willing to do just about anything he asks of her." Ryder said.

I nodded and sighed, "As long as they're thinking things through, of course no one has much say on the matter so long as they've gotten clearance from the council."

He shrugged, "She's already been presented to them, marked...only thing left really is the pack presentation which is why I'm here." He smirked as he held out an invitation.

"Cordially invited to the presentation of Luna Valerie Carson...not one for subtlety is she?" I read out loud as I looked at the invitation.

He chuckled and shook his head, "The invitations were Trace's idea...he's just excited to have everyone meet his mate..." He smiled a little. "The invitation to you was her doing, she refused the presentation all together if she couldn't have her sister there."

We both knew most Luna presentations take place in front of her new pack members only.

I couldn't help but smile as well, "Harper's going to be...well to be honest She does tend to surprise me more often than not so who knows how my own Luna will take this invitation."

"Well then, I'm out before the Luna decides to take it out on the messenger." He said as he got up.

I walked him out just as Harper was pulling up the driveway. I smiled and walked over to her car to open the door for her. I took her bag and kissed her, "Hello Gorgeous."

"Mmm, I don't think I could ever get tired of your kisses." She said before I bent down and kissed her once again.

"Alright my Gorgeous, my mother has asked us over for dinner."

"What about our meetings?"

I shrugged, "The committee for the shelter rescheduled for next week as one of their main people is out of town and the older gentleman scheduled for this evening cancelled altogether, so we're free to do whatever you want...like I said my mom invited us over but we don't have to go if you're not up for it."

She shook her head, "I'd love to go to your mom's house."

I smiled, "we don't have to go right away or anything..." I hinted as I walked us inside.

She stepped out of her heels and stretched. "That's good, I am a little tired." She said as she set off toward the staircase.

I placed her Handbag onto the entryway table by the front door and locked the door behind me. I turned to follow her and noticed that her top was thrown on the floor at the base of the steps, It was odd. But as I picked it up my wolf suddenly woke up, my mate was aroused. I looked up the stairs and saw her skirt on the steps. I rushed up and collected the skirt.

As I continued to make my way to my mate I found more clothing articles leading to our bedroom, a bra, and very sexy underwear were the last to be left behind before I heard a very small moan from the other side of our bedroom door.

I opened the door to my gorgeous Harper pleasuring herself, her hair was splayed across the pillow as her beautiful body was on full display for me, ever the demure beauty she is a light blush touched her cheeks as she looked at me and smiled.

"Took you long enough."

I could only watch her, my wolf ready to come out.

"Are you only going to stand there and watch?" She asked, her chest rising and falling as her pleasure was building up from her own sinful little fingers.

"I wouldn't want to interrupt you." I replied playfully.

"Hmmm...I kind of wish you would My Alpha."

That was all I needed before I stripped and joined her in our bed, my hand quickly replaced hers and I kissed her everywhere I could. I was beyond ready to take her but my beauty was in control right now. It's rare that my Luna takes control like this so I wouldn't take it away from her.

After she spilled herself all over my fingers I smiled and kissed her mark, her orgasm intensified and I whispered "Tell me what you want My Luna."

"I'm so glad you both made it." My mother sounded as she greeted us with hugs before showing us into the house. "I'm still working on dinner but you two make yourselves at home."

"I'd love to help you if there's anything for me to help with." Harper offered.

My mother smiled and whisked my Luna away.

I on the other hand rushed upstairs to my old bedroom. I went into my closet and pulled out my safe, I reached into my pockets and withdrew my keys, I found the right key and opened the safe easily.

I had all of my most important documentation in here, social security card, birth certificate, my fathers will, my own living will, car titles, land titles, loose cash and one very important little black box.

As I lifted the box from the safe I let out an audible sigh as I felt the weight of reality setting in.

Now I have zero regrets and I have given this decision a lot of thought, but at the end of the day I Love Harper.

She is one of my best friends, my girlfriend, my mate, she's taken my mark, my family loves her, and most importantly...this is the next step, and whether she accepts or refuses I will love her regardless.

But I can't even begin to imagine my life without her.

I placed the ring into my dinner jacket's pocket and put away my keys before putting the safe away. I took a seat on my old bed trying to think of a good way to propose, then a light knock sounded before she let herself into the room.

"Hey, hiding from us?"

I smiled and shook my head no before I stood up to greet her. "I could never want to be away from you My Luna."

A beautiful smile filled her face.

"Actually I came upstairs because of this." I said as I reached into my back pocket and held the envelope out her her. "Ryder dropped it off this afternoon."

I watched her face as she read the invitation and while I was actually expecting to hear how soon it was for her sister to be presented and how she had so much to learn... Harper of course took the complete opposite route and smiled excitedly.

"There are going to be Two Luna Carsons."

I couldn't help but laugh a little and think to myself 'For now.'
