"DID YOU HEAR DID YOU HEAR?!"
I groaned,
"good morning to you too, yang jungwon"
I said and he chuckled.
"well apparently, we're the only ones in class who got a 100 on our project!"
he exclaimed and I rolled my eyes,
"and you called me on a Saturday at 8 am for this?!"
"you were gonna wake up anyways"
he said,
"well it's pretty good we got a full score, considering we spent two months on that"
I said and he giggled.
"mhmm... you wanna go out for coffee?!"
he asked me,
"sure! your treat"
"okay see you there!"
he hung up and I made my way to the bathroom to freshen up.
I wore a cashmere sweater and jeans since it was september and the weather was perfect.
"boo!"
I flinched and jungwon laughed.
"what the heck?!"
I hit his shoulder and he smiled cheekily,
"I'm sorry"
he chuckled and I put a hand on my chest to calm myself down.
"where are you going?!"
he asked,
"to a very familiar cafe!"

the boy smiled and I bowed.
"it's nice to see you again, christopher!"
"who's that?!"
he pointed to jungwon,
"that's jungwon, my uhh... friend"
I said and he smiled.
"that's nice! does your brother know about him?!"
I nodded.
"of course he does"
jungwon whispered to me,
"he does?!"
I shook my head and continued.
"well, can we have one caramel macchiato and..."
"a latte!"
jungwon said and I nodded.
"of course! it's on the house today, you two enjoy!"
he said and we smiled.
"what was that about?!"
jungwon asked and I furrowed my brows.
"what was what?!"
he wiggled his eyebrows.
"you called me your friend"
I blinked.
"of course, you're my friend"
I said,
"but I'm supposed to be your boyfriend, innit?!"
I rolled my eyes,
"ew, shut up yang jungwon"
he smiled cockily,
"nevermind, I'll save that for the future"
he winked (or tried to atleast) and I pretended to gag.

we got our drinks and walked to a park nearby.
"the weather today is perfect, which is weird for a saturday"
I said and he nodded.
"it's almost like the universe knew we were going out so they perfected the weather for us"
he said and I felt my cheeks get pink,
"or should I say me!"
I scoffed in disbelief,
"you'll never learn, will you?!"
he laughed.
"hwang eunbi, I don't know why, but I feel weirdly comfortable around you"
I smiled.
"well, me too I guess"
I mumbled and he furrowed his brows.
"what?! I couldn't hear that"
I shook my head.
"it's nothing, let's get ice cream!"
