today was the day sunoo was leaving to Australia and let me tell you, I was sad as heck.

I put on my happy face, which still looked miserable and walked to sunoo's house with jungwon.

"hey sunshine!"

we greeted him and he smiled.

"hey guys"

he got his suitcases out.

"I've noticed that your parents aren't home"

"oh, they already left. I'm going there a little late"

I gasped.

"you could've stayed at my house then!"

he shook his head.

"I didn't wanna burden hyunjin hyung"

he said.

"then you could've stayed at my house"

jungwon said and he shook his head again.

"didn't wanna burden you either"

I shook him aggressively.

"Kim sunoo, you shouldn't think so much about others!"

he chuckled.

"I'm sorry, I'm too nice for this world"

I looked at him in disgust and he burst out laughing.

"well, let's go to the airport, shall we?!"

we took a cab to the airport and it took us quite a while to reach there. me and jungwon were really sad but sunoo looked just fine.

we finally got our of the cab and got his suitcases out. we walked with him to immigration and unfortunately, that was where we had to say goodbye.

"oh my god, I'm gonna miss you so much sunshine"

I hugged him tight and he coughed a little.

"can't breathe-"

I let him go and smiled, trying to hide my sadness.

then it was jungwon's turn.

"I'm gonna miss you so much man!"

he hugged him tight and sunoo patted his back.

"I'm gonna miss you guys too. I'll make sure to text y'all often!"

"you better!"

I said and he laughed.

"bye guys"

we waved at him until he was out of sight and then looked at each other.

"wanna go to a park?!"

jungwon asked me and I nodded.

we took a cab back to our neighborhood and I had still managed to keep my composure.

we reached the park and sat on a bench. one tear fell, followed by many others. jungwon took notice and patted my back

"it's okay eunbi, I miss him too"

he said and I wiped away my tears.

"I'm sorry"

"for what?!"

he questioned me,

"for crying"

he looked at me in pity,

"why are you sorry for crying?!"

he asked me,

"my mom always told me not to show my vulnerable side to anyone. it'll just cause them more trouble"

"she's wrong, it'll cause you more trouble. you can't just keep bottling up your emotions or you'll burst any second"

he said and I smiled.

"i guess that's there too"

he took a deep breath and continued.

"if you ever feel like talking to someone or crying. call me, and I'll be there for you"

I looked into his eyes and I could tell he was genuine. i engulfed him into a hug.

"thank you won"

I sobbed on his shoulder and he ruffled my hair.

"I love you, hwang eunbi"

he mumbled, but unfortunately, it wasn't loud enough for me to hear, even though that was the thing I needed to hear most
