Clint paces his living room, phone in hand, the device silent. Stick wasn't texting him.
Laura places her hands on his shoulders, rubbing the lightly and having him sit on the couch.
"She's probably just tired from a long day at school."
"It's been two days, Laura."
The woman thinks for a moment. It's actually been four days. Clint got back from a mission two days ago, and he'd been worried at the very beginning, so she didn't want to tell him how long it had actually been.
She was worried as well.
That is, until Clint's phone dings!.

She looks over her shoulder.
