Chapter twenty | Riley ♫ *Don't forget to comment and vote!*
I woke up in a hospital bed with my mom beside me holding my hand. I start to open my eyes. All I can think about is Roslyn. I try to get out of the hospital bed but nurses start to run in.
"Ms Oakley may we speak to him in private." They ask my mom
"Sure thing." She says getting up and walking out the room
"Mr Oakley may we ask you do Roslyn have anything other family like her mom or dad other than her brother?" One of them ask
"No we're all she have. She hasn't talked to her parents in weeks." I say
"Okay." She says
"May I ask is she getting better?" I ask
"She is a fighter for sure. Would you like to see her, we kept you in a room from you fainting last night, we're sure you've improved." She says
"I feel great I'll go change out of this gown." I say getting up to go change
After around five minutes I meet the nurse outside my door. We head to Roslyn's room. I walk in to see my precious baby with IV's in her arms. I sit in a chair beside her holding onto her hand.
"Roslyn baby. If you can hear me I want you to know I love you so much and I can't loose you. We will find out who did this to you but I think I know who did. Be strong for me baby. And I love you to the moon and back." I say kissing her hand I feel a slight squeeze back. I start to tear up. I'm not even this emotional at funerals.
I start to call one of the nurses to let them know she squeezed my hand. They come in and look at the monitor. The nurse looks at me and says.
"She has brain movement which is great. Her heart is beating which is amazing to know. As you can tell she is still in her coma. Let's give it a couple days to see if she improves." She says
"You can go home and get more rest. Come back later or tomorrow. Okay?" The nurse says.
"Okay." I say kissing Roslyn's hand one last time
I walk out the room and head to the waiting room to talk to Ross.
"Y'all can go see her." I say to Ross and Leilani
"Alright see you you later." He says pulling me into a hug
To be honest I was shocked. But I hugged him back and told Leilani bye. I head outside to my car I start to drive away from the hospital. To go handle some business.

I walk up the stairs. I start to bang on the front door repeatedly.
"What the fuck do you want." Atia says
"I know you fucking did that to Roslyn." I say
"What?" She says
"If you think stabbing the love of my life and causing her brain damage will win me back you're out of your fucking mind." I say
"Omg Roslyn's in the hospital right?" She says sarcastically
"You and your fucking friends know what y'all did and I promise If I have to kill one of you I will." I say grabbing her wrist hard as I can
"Let me go you fucking psych." She says snatching her arm away
"I AM NOT FUCKING STUPID ATIA IS IT NOT CLEAR THAT THE ONLY WAY YOU COULD TRY TO GET BACK WAS HURTING SOMEONE I CLEARLY LOVE." I yell
"Fuck you." She says slamming the door
I turn and walk back to my car and drive away heading to the liquor store. Great that me and my so call dad looks alike and I stole his ID.
I head inside to grab me a huge thing of vodka. I finish looking around and head to the cash register.
"You look a little young buddy." The man says
I slam the ID on the counter. He shrugs his shoulders.
"Fifteen Eighty-Nine." He says
I hand him the money and grab my bag and walk out the store. I get in the car and just sit. I get the vodka out of the bag and start to chug it.
I put the rest away and start the car up. I drive away and head home. I guess I'll try to take a nap or something maybe I'll watch The Princess and The Frog since Roslyn is in love with it.
It's boring not having her here with me. We're supposed to be trying to not kill watch other. But instead she's in a coma.

"Give me the fucking remote back Riley." Roslyn yells
"What? I can't hear you." I say smiling
She comes running jumping on top of me beating me with a pillow. I start to laugh and tickle her belly.
"No no." She screams laughing
"I am so in love with you." I say getting closer to her lips
"I love you more." She says
"Thanks for the remote by the way." She says getting up and laughing
I roll my eyes and smile.
