Chapter thirty-five | Roslyn ❀ *Don't forget to comment and vote!*
It's been a month since we've been prom shopping. Today is April sixth which means it's prom day. I'm getting my hair and makeup done. I also got my nails done yesterday. I'm five hours away from prom. I turned eight months yesterday.
Literally any day now until baby arrives. I've been talking to Riley all day. Madi is doing my makeup and Mom is doing my hair.
I kinda feel like a princess or something. A couple hours later I was already for prom. We picked up Riley. We go to have hour photo shoot, and head onto prom after.

To be honest I never thought that I would be going to prom with someone. Let alone my girlfriend. This year is my first and lays prom. Somewhat sad. But that's alright. Me and a Roslyn are sitting almost the whole time until she wanted to get up a dance a little.
I told her she doesn't have to but she's doesn't want to listen. We dance for a little bit and she got tired. I can tell she's a little upset that she can't really do much. "You're okay?" I ask
"Yeah." She says
"Everyone head to the front for prom kind and queen nominees." The announcer says
We get up and head to the front even though there is a chance that will won't win. Well Roslyn better she looks amazing.
"Our two thousand twenty two to two thousand twenty three prom king is ... Riley Oakley." The announcer says
I look around shocked and Roslyn congratulates me and makes me go on stage to get my crown and sash.
"Our two thousand twenty two to two thousand twenty three prom queen is ... Roslyn Eden." The announcer says
I can't stop smiling and she's just standing in shock. "Why would some whore wing prom queen." Atia says
"Oh shut the fuck up for once don't nobody care about what you have to say." I say while Roslyn is getting help on stage. The give her, her crown and sash.
The announcer says someother but I wasn't listening but we're having our king and queen dance. "Can you believe we won prom king and queen." I say resting my forehead on hers
"I'm still in shock but I am happy." She says laughing
The music fades a way and everyone starts to clap. I can tell she's hurting and tired so we head on home.

It's been a week since prom and I've been having contractions bad. Riley's been walking around the house with me trying to calm the contractions down. We're headed back into the room and I feel a liquid hit the floor. Omg.
My water broke. Shit. "ROSLYN YOUR WATER BROKE." Riley screams
"No dip sherlock." I say laughing
"Ima call my mom and your mom and dad and tell them we're going to head to the hospital after you take a quick shower." He says
"Okay." I say
I take a long shower hoping i've dilated more. I put on something comfy and go to tell Riley I am ready. He grabbed my bag his and the baby's. Her car seat is in his car.

We got to the hospital fast. I am changed into my gown and my contractions are getting closer. Riley's rubbing my back while they have me bounce on this big ass ball. My mom and dad and Madi get here. "How are you doing?" Madi asks
"Terrible." I say
"You're gonna do great." She says
The doctor came back and tell me that I am ready to push. Oh hell nah. "If any of you would like to leave you can." He says
"We're gonna let it be only you and Riley okay? We know that you will do amazing." Moma says
"I'm scared moma." I say
"No need to." She says kissing my forehead
"Be strong." My dad says kissing my cheek
"Your gonna make it through." Madi says
They all tell us they love us and say their goodbyes to Riley. "It's time Ms. Eden." The doctor says
Riley's by my side holding my hand. "On the count of three I want you to push okay?" She says
I nod in response. "One,two, three push."
I push hard as a I can I start to scream from the pain. She tells me to keep pushing and that her head is almost out. "I can't." I say loosing breath
"You can do it Roslyn." Riley says
I hold onto his hand harder and let out on last push. I start to hear crying. I just pushed a human out of me. The nurse lays her on my chest. Both Riley and I are crying like crazy."Hi baby." I say smiling
The nurse lets me breastfeed her and then they take her to get cleaned up and run some tests. "You did it Roslyn." Riley says kissing me
"We have our baby now." I say crying
"We do." He says
They bring her back in around thirty minutes later and they let her and Riley do skin to skin for a while. It's late and I feed her and put her in her little crib thing and fall asleep. We named her.

I woke up early to see Riley already holding her. I smile. I finally have my little family. I hear the door open and my mom, dad and Madi comes in with Ross and Leilani.
"She's here." I say pointing at Riley
"She's so precious." They all say
"What's her name." Ross asks
"Rosaline Eloise Okaley." I say
"You named her after your grandma." My mom says tearing up
I smile at her. Everyone takes turns holding her and now she's eating again like she's been working all day. Like girl you haven't even been in this world for a full day yet how is you tired. I finally can say that I have my family all together now.
