(Edited) Jenna's POV:

I motioned for him to sit on my bed and he did.

"Alex, how's it been?" I asked.

"Well, not so great. I met my mate and..."

"And..?" I felt anger bubble up in me.

"She'd be better off without me."

I suddenly felt a jolt of pain making me yelp.

"Jenna are you alright?!"

"I...I'm fine."

Oh, I understand now. Its the mate bond isn't it?

Dylan's POV:

I took my lips off hers.

"Babe, I need to go," my Luna said before running off.

What's up with her today?

Anyway, I have more important things to worry about.

Jenna.

I walked over to Jenna's room and knocked on the door. It took a while, but it finally opened.

"What is it?" she asked hurriedly.

I saw her tense.

"Jenna, may I come in?" I smirked.

"No. And I do not know why that is relevant."

From the moment I saw Jenna, she had the faint scent of a pack, but no specific scent. Almost like she was cleansed of it.

I heard something move behind her and I became suspicious.

"What was that?" I asked.

"Nothing. Mind your own business."

With that she slammed the door.

She has the right to get livid at me for what I've done, but it's only normal she doesn't want to cause a scene.

Let the games begin, Jenna Rosen.

Jenna's POV:

I let Alex continue to ramble on about his life. Although I heard most of it, my mind was still occupied by someone else.

"..Then he put me in a cell for a week! I still got food but – hey, are you even listening?"

I snapped out of my trance, "Mhm, I'm just thinking about something."

Instead of continuing, the boy stared at me.

"I...I'll see you later. I have something to attend to.." he said before bolting out the door and closing it behind him.

And to all of you who thought my mind was occupied by Dylan...

.

.

.

You were right...wrong.

My mind was occupied by the one and only, Aloy.

And he appeared out of thin air.

"Miss me?"

"Where have you been~" I sang, already knowing the answer.

I saw him blush a shade of light pink, which is really rare.

"I should really cut of that tongue of yours."

"But how will you hear this angelic voice?"

"More like demonic."

I placed my hand on my heart and pretended to be hurt.

"Oh shush drama queen, but I need to introduce you to someone you've probably already seen."

A woman suddenly popped up next to him.

It was the same woman I saw that night.

Flashback

I continued to stare out my window.

After a few minutes, a woman became visible. She had short hair with luscious bangs and eyes that were hazel and sharp.

And she looked straight at me.

End Of Flashback

"Jen, Emma. Em, Jenna."

"It's nice to finally meet you in person. And not stare at you through your window," Emma smiled.

"It's... great to meet you too."

"Ok," Aloy said, "Your name's sound great together. Ya'll probably would be best friends."

Emma smirked at him, "But I'm only your best friend!"

I stared at the both of them as they argued back and forth about friendship.

"Shut up you two," I interrupted them. "You sound like children."

Their heads snapped to me and I now understood why they were the perfect friends.

"How long gave you known Al?" Emma asked me.

"12 years," I smirked.

She started to laugh, "I've known him for 21, basically all his life."

"Well we didn't talk during most of those years," Aloy grumbled.

"Shut up! This isn't your conversation!"

Only we would dare say 'shut up' to each other. If it was anyone else, well, they'd have to prepare their funeral.

"Anyway, training will start soon, you coming Em?" Aloy asked.

"Duh. I'll be watching like always."

Emma continued, "I also know Dylan will be making some shitty announcement so better keep your guard up girls!"

And with that, she left.

"She didn't mean what I think she did, right?"

"I think she did Jenna."
