THIRTY ONE

HARRY

Harry watches the screen in front of him intently, focusing on the man he loves as his heart races for him.

This was it, Louis' final solo interview.

For the time being anyways.

He knows just by looking at the older man that he's nervous, his left eye is twitching and his leg is bopping slightly as he fiddles with his sleeves.

Harry frowns at this, wanting nothing more than to wrap him in a comforting hug.

But he can't, not right now.

"So Louis" the presenter speaks, and Harry immediately rolls his eyes.

He's not a fan of this interviewer, she asks too many invasive questions and she's a kiss arse to their management.

"There were some images circling of you and your former band mate, Zayn the other day, any rumours you'd like to put to bed?".

Louis smiles slightly, looking towards the camera.

"Yeah, yeah, it's crazy innit? Step out on the street with a mate and of course you must be seeing em".

He shakes his head, laughing along with the woman before continuing.

"I'd just like to confirm me and Z are certainly not a couple, and i'd be lying out of my arse if i said we were anything more than good mates and bandmates".

The woman quirks an eyebrow at this, even though this is exactly what she was prepped for.

"Bandmates hm?" she questions.

Louis lets out a nervous chuckle, pretending to be caught out.

"Haha, yeah i meaannn, you never know what the future holds do ya?".

Harry immediately spots a cheeky smirk on the older lads face.

"For example just recently i got back in touch with someone i never thought i'd be given the time of day from again, but shit changes doesn't it. Maybe ehh, maybe there's hope for the band yet".

A fond smile spreads out across Harry's face from Louis' sofa. He knows exactly what he's talking about.

From there the interviewer asks Louis a few more questions before wrapping up and that's the end.

Harry wraps himself in the fluffy grey blanket strewn across the sofa and rubs his sock clad feet together in glee.

That went as well as it could have all things considered.

Now he just needs to wait for Louis to get home and they can return to their bubble of happiness.
