ARIANA'S POV

The rooftop provided a great view, away from the party that had been going on. She was right when she said plenty of celebrities would be there, every corner you'd turn, there was one. You needed special passes to even get inside, which thanks to Greyson we had no problem getting in.

I was in a simple black dress, with heels to match and my hair up per usual. G decided on something more casual as well, accidentally making us and our friends look like we planned to match on purpose. Instead of going out, the boys insisted on coming with us while Safiya wanted to catch up on sleep.

I only had a few sparkling waters, considering I didn't wanna make a fool of myself in front of Justin Bieber or Harry Styles because I was sure they were here. She didn't drink either, but Izaak had already mentioned to me earlier that she wasn't a drinker at all.

Outside was cool, as May was slowly but surely coming to an end. It wasn't hot necessarily, but too cold for just a mini dress, hence why I borrowed Greyson's jacket. It was pretty big on me as the sleeves considered almost my entire hand, but I liked that it fit that way.

Over these past two days, I knew that Greyson was famous, yeah, but it took me until now to see how famous she was. Watching celebrities I love, fan girl over her. It was just a weird experience almost, like to me, she was just a friend and my boss, hell we lived in the same house, yet she had people asking for an autograph on our way into the party.

Speaking of the younger girl, with her red cup in hand, we both peered over the railing, just looking at the city view. I was happy to know that she wasn't much of a party person either, we both preferred to stay inside and do things there, instead of being at events like this. We never actually had a conversation about it, but I watched her demeanor as the party went on and saw how uninterested she looked and I guess she noticed that about me when she was talking with Dua because she excused herself and brought us here. I wasn't complaining though, this was probably my favorite part of the day.

"This is your definition of 'needing me', Cameron?" I asked, attaining her attention as she smiled with a chuckle.

"Um yes, it is actually," Greyson shrugged, "I think I'm finally coming onto you, Grande,"

"Oh, maybe by tomorrow you'll be calling us friends." I teased, causing chuckles from us both.

"Well, I don't just sit on a roof with anyone, so I'd say we're friends."

"We did carpool karaoke together, I told you we're bonded!"

"Right, sorry," She shook her head, her smile never leaving her face.

"So," I started as I took her cup from her hands, and took a sip myself. It was just Coke. "What's with you and Dua? Are you like exes or something?"

"You want the whole story?"

"I do,"

"Then you tell me about your relationship next."

"I'm single."

"Frankie was just telling Everett something about a guy you were with a few months back, so I don't think so."

"Fine."

"We're not exes, it's not like that." She went on to explain. "I spent most of my time in Australia filming a movie like two years back, so I didn't see my family very often. It just so happened that she was there, going through the same situation, and ever since we've just been close."

"It seems like she likes you."

"Nah we're strictly friends," Greyson reassured, turning over to me. "I plan to be the ultimate bachelorette."
