“…” Eunha and Shuhua instantly fell silent.

Lisa found this amusing. “Teacher, since you didn’t buy me these flowers, why did you ask about them?”

Mark did not conceal his intentions in the slightest. “I only asked if you like them. If you do, I’ll buy you a bouquet of roses in the future.”

“Wow…” All the students in class became excited.

Eunha asked him unhappily., “Teacher Mark, don’t you know that in this country, men will only buy roses for the women they’re interested in?”

Perhaps this handsome foreigner was unaware and was doing this out of respect.

“I know.” Mark responded honestly. “I have feelings for Lisa. I don’t wish to hide this matter.”

“Wow!” Everyone was dumbstruck.

Eunha had assumed that the handsome Mark had taken a liking to her. After all, he had called her beautiful just yesterday.

[You can look at a fish and say that it's a shark but is it really a shark?]

In the end, he publicly declared that he had feelings for the ugliest girl in school. She was nearly angered to death. “You’re our teacher. You can’t do this…”

Mark put on a wise expression as he began somewhat awkwardly in Chinese. “Since ancient times, the words of a wise man from this country have been repeated. ‘Admiring and appreciating what is beautiful is only human nature’. Isn’t it normal human behaviour to be attracted to a young woman? Although I’m your teacher, I’m single. I also have the right to be in love.”

His gaze shifted onto Lisa. “Lisa is already a Year 2 student. She’ll be graduating in two years. If this school won’t allow a teacher-student relationship, I’m willing to wait two years for her.”

His brave confession won over all the girls.

“Teacher Mark, you’re so romantic and brave! You’re a proper gentleman!” One of the girls immediately expressed her admiration.

Even Tzuyu could not help but praise him. “Teacher, teachers like you who aren’t afraid of the gap between a teacher and a student are especially worthy of respect.”

“There’s a phrase that’s been said since ancient times. Time is not a distance, being fat or skinny is not a problem…” Mark wanted to continue but was cut off by the students’ laughter. “It’s ‘Height is not a distance, weight is not a pressure’…”

“Yes, yes, yes!” Mark joked humorously and instantly won even more admiration from the girls.

Eunha reminded him coldly. “Teacher, there’s no way you don’t know that Lisa has a fiancé.”

“Having a fiancé means that she isn’t married. I still have an opportunity.” Mark shot a loving look towards Lisa. “Lisa, don’t worry. I can wait for two years.”

“Scram!” Her eyes were as sharp as knives.

He was completely unapologetic as he picked up his teaching materials and left.

The students were still chattering about Mark’s confession. Eunha reached out to take the large bouquet on Lisa’s desk.

Lisa slapped her hand away. “What are you doing!”

“I’m helping you throw them away.” Eunha responded. “Didn’t you say that you’re refusing to accept it? I’ll help you throw the trash away.”

She was truly jealous. After being the school’s goddess for so long, she had received bouquets with no more than ten to twenty roses.

But never once did a man generously offer her an extravagant bouquet of 999 roses like this.

Ever since her reputation was ruined, it became even less likely for anyone to give her flowers. The sight of this bouquet was a serious eyesore.

Lisa had originally assumed that these flowers came from Mark or Jaehyun.

But she was now certain it wasn’t Mark.

Jaehyun also appeared to hate her a lot. There was no way he would have bought her roses.

In that case…

Who else could it be? Was it Jungkook?

The more she thought about it, the more she felt that it wasn’t possible.

Throughout their ten years of marriage, he never bought her any flowers. How could he possibly be so romantic?
