Aalia was sitting on her study table, scribbling on a paper releasing her emotions. She felt sleep deprived. She looked at time. It was 4:30 am. Her tears were no longer with her. She looked herself in the mirror. Her face and eyes were still puffy. Aalia got up and walked to the bathroom. She stood under the shower for a while. The hot water washed through her body eliminating stress and anxiety. She closed her eyes.

After taking a long shower, she wore her pajamas and layed on the bed. Water was dripping from her hair. But she didn't mind to dry it up with a towel. Her phone has been switched off till last night.

'It's better this way.' She thought.

She was supposed to be trying to hide her puffy face. But she was too tired to do so. She opened her cupboard.

The letter Adnaan gave, the teddy bear, his T-shirt, the merry go round showpiece and the bracelet he gave was kept in it safely. She took everything to the bed. She found his letter. She read it once. Twice. Thrice and more. Unknowingly she drifted into sleep. Her tired eyes could finally rest. Her mind could relax. She was descending down to deep in sleep. Sleep was really helpful for her to escape the reality. She could finally feel relieved. It didn't take much time for her to sleep.

The sun rose up in the sky, spreading the hope and faith to one and all. Somebody was calling her name. She wanted to open her eyes and look who it was. But was too tired. Finally she woke up hearing the knock on the door.

"Aali....Come downstairs...."

Aalia rubbed her face and sat on the bed. The gifts Adnaan gave were dispersed in the bed. She sat for a while.

'What's with this runny nose, now?' Aalia thought. She took a napkin and cleared her nose.

She went downstairs.

"Aali.. Come here. " Her mom called.

"Wait, Why is your hair wet? Did you take a shower? This early? Why? You might get sick. " Mom scolded.

"I am fine." Aalia said.

"Look at your deep voice. Look at your reddish face. Puffy eyes. And you seems Moody. Did you cry last night?" Mom asked.

"Nah. " Aalia lied.

"I think you shouldn't go to college today. You look ill. " Her mom said.

"I am fine, mom. I shouldn't miss the classes." Aalia explained.

'As Hana is not there, it would be a dead day for sure.' Aalia thought.

"The classes are over. It's revision time. I know. You should stay at home." Her mom said.

"Mom... " Aalia begged.

"Your dad will drop you at college. You won't drive." Her mom demanded.

Aalia nodded.
