Steve- Not Mad

"Come on, (Y/n). That the best you can do?" Steve taunts, holding up his fists as the two of you circle around the boxing ring.

"Course not, Stevie. I don't wanna hurt you," You say, smiling innocently.

He laughs. "You can't hurt me-"

Dropping down and swooping your leg into Steve's ankles, he's instantly on the mat with you on top of him.

He wheezes as you stand, rolling to one side and curling into a fetal position.

You smirk. "Did I hurt you?"

"You kneed me in the balls-"

"Oh my God," You burst, a laugh making you double over.

"I'm sorry, Steve!" You whine, trailing after him as he rushes to his room. It's been a few days since the incident and he won't stand within five feet of you.

"It's fine! I'm not mad at you."

Scoffing, you quicken your pace to match his. "Obviously you're mad, otherwise you wouldn't be avoiding me!"

"I am not mad," He stops and faces you. "I guess I'm just, uh, scared that you'll do that again."

You crack a smile. "It was an accident, you big baby. And to think Captain America couldn't handle a blow to the-"

"Okay!" Steve holds up his hands. "I get it. You don't need to go around spreading that. Natasha an Tony would never let me hear the end of it."

"Oh," You laugh nervously, rubbing your arm. "About that."

His eyes narrow. "(Y/n), what did you do?"

"Captain America, earths first superhuman. Taken down by a kick to the nuts!" Tony blares from down the hall, chuckling loudly.

Steve sighs. "That's not going away any time soon,"

"Who would've though?" Tony walks over to you and stops beside Steve. "I mean, come on, Cap. Not even I would-"

Stepping forward, you place your hands on Tony's shoulders and bring up your knee. He grunts and stumbles backwards, slapping his hand onto the wall for support.

"What was that, Tony?" You say, smirking slightly. "You didn't finish."

He groans as he stands and smiles stiffly. "Not even I would react like that."

Steve claps a hand onto Tony's shoulder. "Right, keep telling yourself that."

Throwing an arm over your shoulder, Steve leads you away from Tony.
