Loki's glaring. And not just his regular leave-me-alone glare, it's more of a come-near-me-and-I-kill-you, glare. But you're not worried as you skip over to him, snapping your gum as his eyes narrow.

"What in Odin's name are you doing?"

You plop down next to him, leaning in closely and Loki stiffens. He can smell the gum you're chewing as you invade his personal space, but strangely, he doesn't mind.

"Nothing," You reply, plucking the book from his hands and he nearly gasps. "Who's Antigone?"

He snorts. "Of course you would not know."

Your nose crinkles as you skim the page. "This isn't at all enjoyable."

"It is to me," He snatches back his book, settling it on his lap and continues reading.

"You sure remind me of that Creon character," Loki's eyes slowly filter up, and you smile goofily before standing. "And I'm guessing you and Thor are the brothers who kill each other, hmm? The story sure matches yours. Well, except for you and Thor being dead. And you having sisters. And that-"

"I am impressed," Loki says, and you pause to grin even wider. "I did not know you had an interest in such stories."

You shrug a shoulder, tapping the side of your head. "I've got a whole bunch of those twisted plays in my head."

"Oh? Well, maybe you could recite me a verse or two from-"

"Nuh uh," You shake your finger, giggling when Loki frowns. "Only if you read me one of your weird poetic stories."

He scoffs. "They are not weird. They are magnificent. Master pieces. Works of art created by the gods of literature."

"So is that a yes?"

Loki taps his chin in thought, and you drop down onto the couch and scoot close. He looks at you from the corner of his eye and laughs. "Now what are you doing?"

"What?" You ask, pouting extra hard and bat your eyelashes.

Loki laughs again and looks away. "Stop that."

"Why?"

"Because,"

"Because of what?"

"You look extremely adorable."

You blink, feeling your cheeks heat up. "O-Oh,"

"Speechless for once?" Loki smirks, taking your hand and leading you to the patio. "It is better to read in natural lighting."
