"Noa, I said no!" Tony says sternly.

You bit back a groan, but throw your hands in the air to show your anger. "But dad, he's not a bad guy!"

"You're not going out with him, and it's final."

"Why? Give me one good reason why-"

Tony spins on his work chair and holds up his hand. "He's a brainwashed, he's an assassin, he has a metal arm, he has major mental issues, he could kill you without even try-"

"But he needs me, dad." You say, rubbing your arm. "And I need him."

He scoffs. "You do not need him, Noa."

Your eyes snap to his. "Either accept that we're dating, or don't; I don't care." With that said, you storm away from your father and straight to your room where Bucky's hiding.

"Hey," You murmur once you've closed your door, and not a second later, Bucky's holding you gently in his arms.

"He's not okay with is, is he?" He mutters, resting his head against the crook of your neck.

You bring up a hand and run it through his hair soothingly. "It's okay, Buck, he'll come aro-"

Your door flies open, and Tony comes stumbling in. He looks up at you and Bucky and sighs. "Oh for the love of-"

Bucky jumps up and scoots away from you, his eyes wide. Quickly, you stand in front of him like a shield.

"Have you ever heard on knocking?" You growl.

Tony points to Bucky. "How long has he been here? How did he get passed the alarms?"

"I haven't been here long, sir." Bucky says, placing his metal arm on your shoulder, causing Tony to tense. "And JARVIS seems to have taking a liking to me,"

Tony sighs and looks up dramatically. "Why are children so hard to take care of-?"

"I'm an adult, dad!" You snap, backing into Bucky's arms and narrowing your eyes at your dad.

"You know what, do whatever you want. As long as you're happy, I'm happy." Tony mutters, waving an arm as he exits the room. He sticks his head into the room after a second. "But not anything that requires me to wear earplugs, you get me?"
