"Liyah." Kennedy said calmly as she walked in the hospital doors.
Aaliyah sniffled as she rocked back and forth with her head in her knees
She looked wore out and tired. Her eyes were puff and her face was basically red.
"Liyah." Kennedy said as she tried to get her attention but it seemed Aaliyah couldn't even hear her at the moment.
"They told me I had lost too much blood.. and my baby wasn't gone make it." Aaliyah explained.
"Aaliyah I am so sorry." Kennedy said as her eyes started to fill.
As Aaliyah was about to say something Saint walked in with the saddest expression Kennedy had ever seen him make.
He hadn't looked that way sense their old friend died.
"Hmm mama you gotta eat." He said and Aaliyah mugged him .
"I'm not hungry." She said and he sighed
"Ken can you tell her to eat she gone literally starve herself." Saint asked worriedly
"I already told you I don't have an appetite saint damn." Aaliyah said irritated
"So you tellin me you haven't had an appetite for 2 days Aaliyah ? 2 fuckin days?" He asked
"Yes saint 2 FUCKIN DAYS SHIT." She yelled the last part.
"Liyah please just try and eat something."
"Kennedy I already said I'm not hungry what y'all not getting." She mugged Kennedy and rubbed her hands down her face
Saint slid out his shoes and got behind Aaliyah causing her to lay back in between his legs.
"Kennedy we gone see you later." Saint told her and Kennedy nodded
She noticed how relaxed Aaliyah was as saint comforted her.
Kennedy definitely felt like all this was her fault she couldn't help but feel guilty .. and in some ways she just was happy it wasn't messiah Kennedy would've gone mental if she lost her only child that's why she felt as much pain as Aaliyah did losing her baby.
She got an incoming call from Kayceon and she answered
"Where y'all at?" Kennedy asked raising her eyebrow
"He wanted to come to the park but we finna leave in a minute and go get some to eat." Kayceon informed her
"Okay , that's fine just bring me some to eat ." Kennedy said and he nodded before hanging up.

"What you mean y'all can't find her amiir?" Kennedy raised her eyebrow
"Exactly what I just said." He said sarcastically.
"Well y'all better figure this shit out and fast .. I'm not playing at all."
"And who you supposed to be?" He asked chuckling a little.
"Big Ken not the little one." She said and he rolled his eyes.
"Shut that shit up." He mugged her
"Seriously though .. that shit scary as hell ion feel comfortable with messiah still going to school know her ass could be somewhere hiding in a bush." Kennedy said
"How Aaliyah doing ?" He said changing the convo
"As good as she can Kayceon." Kennedy sighed
"Damn that shit crazy seriously .. I can't even imagine what I would've did if it would've been messiah I prolly woulda went crazy." He frowned
"Inna way , all this could've been avoided if you kept to dick in yo pants." She side eyed him and he sucked his teeth.
"So this my fault huh?" He said
"I didn't necessarily say that but if the shoe fits wear it." She shrugged her shoulders
"How was I supposed to know her crazy ass was gone do some shit like that." He retaliated
"You wouldn't have to know if you wasn't tryna fuck on yo baby momma ex bestfriend." She mugged him
"Mane how long you gone hold that shit over my head." He shook his head
"Till I get over it , don't talk about the shit like it was something small and petty no bitch ass nigga you FUCKED my best fuckin friend right after you broke my heart and basically told me you ain't want shit to do with me or your son. Do you not see how that shit look?" Kennedy asked before laughing a little
"Man you really ain't shit." Kennedy shook her head
"I thought we moved past all this." He told her
"Nawl mf you can always forgive but you can NEVER forget .. now I'm going to go pick up messiah and I got heads to do you have a lovely day." She said giving him a small smile and walking out.
"Shit man I can't catch a break." Kayceon spoke his thoughts out loud.
