-It's your first day in potions class for year 6, you're excited as 6th year potions is supposed to be the most interesting!

-"Y/n, would you like to be the first subject and come up and smell this mystery potion" professor slughorn asked you.

-You walk up to the pink potion excitedly after agreeing to smell it. "Draco, can you step back a bit your cologne and the scent of those stupid green apples you're always eating is blocking the scent of the potion."

-" I'm not wearing any cologne today, y/n" Draco stated

-"would anybody based off of the interaction like to guess what the mystery potion is?" Slughorn questioned

-"is it amortentia sir? It would make sense as to why y/n smelt draco?" Hermione asked without raising her hand

-Slughorn congratulated Hermione on being smart and getting it right

-Both yours and Draco’s faces turned red as you both heard Slughorn teach the class about the amortentia.. Draco then sent you a letter inviting you to 'hang out' that evening.

-"Slughorn is late today? That's so weird he's usually here way before the class" you mentioned to Ron

-"Sorry I am late class, today we're doing a very special activity so I had spent a while preparing, causing my tardiness." Slughorn announced while entering

-Each student took turns smelling the potion he had brought for the class to guess what it is. It was finally your turn and you smelt Mrs. Wesley's cooking, bacon, and the burrow..?

-"Ron, you should smell this, it smells exactly like your mom's cooking!" You had told Ron.

-Ron ran to smell it as he is always up for something that reminded him of food or home, and in this case it was both! "This smells nothing like either of those y/n, it just smells like you?" Ron replied, a little disappointed and confused

-You both went up to Slughorn to question him about why it smelt different to the both of you, after explaining what you both smelt Slughorn laughed a bit and told you both to sit down.

-Slughorn got up in front of the class and taught about the mystery potion, amortentia. Both yours and Ron's faces turned bright red, both Harry and Hermione laughing until they were out of breathe at the expression on Ron's face.

-You and Cedric are sitting in potions talking about anything and everything that didn't have to do with your schoolwork.

-Snape then starts talking about today's subject which is amortentia.. the strongest love potion in the world. Everybody sighs as he just isn't an exciting teacher.

-Then Snape passes a vile of amortentia to a student, telling them to pass it to everyone else while he prepares tomorrow's test.
