Black's POV

Minutes after the kidnapping, Black found himself alone with Kayla in a dimly lit room. He had expected her to be scared, to cry for her parents, but to his surprise, she remained remarkably calm, her eyes steady and unwavering.

"So, you're the man who took me from my family," Kayla said, her voice surprisingly composed for a five-year-old.

Black couldn't help but marvel at her composure. She was no ordinary child; there was a cunning glint in her eyes that belied her young age. He had heard whispers of Kayden's genius, but seeing it in his daughter was a revelation.

"You're a smart little girl, aren't you?" Black remarked, trying to mask his awe.

Kayla smiled, a mischievous twinkle in her eyes. "Like father, like daughter."

In the following minutes, Black discovered the true extent of Kayla's genius. She manipulated one of his henchmen effortlessly, ordering him to deal with the prisoners more ruthlessly. The henchman followed her commands without question, and Black couldn't help but feel a chill down his spine.

It was in that moment that he saw the ruthlessness hidden beneath her innocent façade. Kayla had inherited not only her father's intelligence but also his steely resolve and ability to command. She was a wolf hiding in sheep's clothing, a force to be reckoned with.

As Black watched her, he couldn't help but be conflicted. He had intended to hurt her to get back at Kayden, but now, he found himself hesitating. There was something about this little girl that both intrigued and frightened him.

He fought the urge to get closer to her, to understand the enigma that was Kayla. His revenge had blinded him, but now he couldn't help but wonder if there was more to this than just settling old scores.

"I won't let you win, you know," Kayla said, breaking the silence and drawing Black's attention back to her.

"Oh?" Black raised an eyebrow, curious about what she meant.

"I may be young, but I'm not helpless. And I will make sure my family brings you down," she declared with a confidence that left him both impressed and amused.

The conflicting emotions within Black intensified. He had planned to use Kayla as a pawn in his game of revenge, but now he couldn't help but wonder if he had underestimated her.

As he left the room, he couldn't shake off the feeling that he was dealing with a force far greater than he had imagined. Kayla's brilliance and high emotional quotient level were unlike anything he had encountered before.

And as he dug deeper into her background, he was astounded to discover that Kayla was none other than the infamous hidden boss known as "Z" in the Independent State. A state where even the underworld covered in fear.

The revelation left him stunned, unsure of what to make of the situation. The tables had turned, and he found himself entangled in a web spun by a five-year-old prodigy. Kayla had left a lasting impression on him, and he knew that he couldn't underestimate her.

As he contemplated his next move, a sassy remark echoed in his mind, a reminder of the fearless girl he had encountered.

"I'll be watching you, Black. And trust me, you won't know what hit you," Kayla's words rang in his ears, leaving him with a mix of admiration and unease.

Black knew he had to tread carefully, for he had unknowingly unleashed a formidable opponent. The stage was set for a battle of wits and cunning, with a genius child as his adversary, and he couldn't help but wonder how this twisted tale of revenge and brilliance would unfold.
