Chapter Twenty One: Who's Her Date??

@Crystal Hotel

"hi Lucia, yes.. What?" i exclaimed as Lucia told me that Kayden requested the twins to be in his office.

"sorry ellie, i thought it was okay" lucia said on the other line

"no.. Im sorry.. Im just, im still not used to this. Then please tell him that i will not be able to make it for dinner and he needs to watch for them later. Thank you Lucia. Bye" i hanged up

"hey Ms. Amiels, everything alright?" chef von asked me

"yes. Everything's fine. What time will Mr. Guisseppe arrive?" i asked Chef Von the eldest chef here in the Elliot's hotel kitchen

"about 7 in the evening Miss" he replied

I watched at the clock only to find out that it's already 5:30 in the afternoon

"okay everyone. Let's move" i instructed them

Time passed by so fast and the last course for tonight's meeting was finished

"okay it's a wrap everyone, good job" and i clapped and praised them for their hardwork and they praised me back

"now, i will go and get ready for the meeting" i said and take my leave

I am so nervous because Mr. Guiseppe is an investor for Elliot's hotel, and He was known to be a top class chef first before becoming a businessman. I admired him when i was young, that's why i am so nervous right now that i'm meeting him.

It was already 6:30 in the evening so i decided to wear a plain red katie dress and a pair of 2 inch black heels and a cream business coat. I dont use much make up so i only applied powder and lipstick and poof. Im ready.

I was entering in the meeting hall when suddenly. My phone rang. It was Kayden

Before i could speak he already spoke

"where are you?" he asked with that monotnous cold voice

"ugh. At work ofcourse?" i told him with a "duh" tone

"then leave." he told me

"look. I dont know what kind of food youve eaten all day but.. You cant dictate me as you wish because.. Were just aquaintances Mr. Pierre. Now if you have nothing to say.. Im hanging up" and i ended up the call

Should he be always on the perfect timing to ruin my mood??! Ughhh. He's so annoying.

My phone went ringin again and i knew that it was him. So i ended the call and put my phone on airplane mode.

"Ginny, come here!" i pressed the interpol

The twins are now sleeping at my private quarters inside the office.

I know i should not supposed to act and do this, but i can't help it. The moment I heard 'He' will be arriving here in New York and that he "accidentally" chose to represent Great Grand Uncle in examining the cuisines served at Elliot's Hotel made me furious. I knew few days ago that Ellie would be busy this day because of this, i really thought it was great grand uncle who will come, but 'he' came instead! I knew that he has some tricks up his sleeve.

I was interrupted when Ginny knocked

"come" i told him irritated

"ughhh.. What's the matter?" he asked

"investigate the meeting. Send the kids home. Head to Crystal Jade" i commanded in one breath. Im not in the mood to talk in complete sentences.

"you worried? Then why not let the kids join. They are your best weapon" ginny might have guessed what i was worrying about

I think for a moment then revealed a grin

"good. Let's go. Careful not to wake Kayla up. We'll need her tantrum later" i again grinned foolishly facing the night view of New York City in my office.
